Dot commands
From FreeHost
FH brings many new dot commands. To use a dot command, type it in the radio buffer as if you were to send a radio message. Commands begin with a period (.). Example: ".showdata"
.fuel x
You can change the ammount of fuel, that you want to load on your plane. Destroyed Fueltanks at your Takeoff-Field may decrease your value, if this rule is active. The value can be increased for fighters, if the Arena_Parameters MINFUELLOAD is set above 0.
.showdata
Gives the pilot information about all numerical data his plane has:
| X Coordinate | X | |
| Y Coordinate | Y | |
| Altitude | meter | A |
| True Air Speed | km/h | TAS |
| Indicated Air Speed | km/h | IAS |
| Climb Speed | meter per second | CS |
| Angle of Attack | degrees | AoA |
| Banking/Kränkung | degrees | Kr |
| Accelaration | km/h per second | Accel |
| Azimut | degrees | Az |
| RS | ||
| G-forge | OG |
You only need to type this command once each time you connect. Type it again to turn it off.
.showhits
This command shows a chart on the screen with all the pilot's scored and suffered hits, giving the number of rounds and caliber. However, it does not give this information on hits taken from enemies unless they were shot by acks.
.showdamage
This command shows on screen all the damage taken from enemy fire in the current sortie so you wont forget.
.gunstat
This command reports in the radio every hit taken and scored, who hit or was hit, as well as its caliber and where it hit. It was developed with debugging intentions, so is available only in the training arena.
.challenge
It would show your name in opponent's gunstat instead of your aircraft model. With .gunstat disabled, this command was rendered useless in the main arena.
.conv
Sets the convergence of the cannons mounted at the wing.
If set to 300, the cannons of both sides will hit the same point 300 feets in front of the plane.
.pingtest
Ping the FH server with unknown iEN logics. The results will differ from FHLauncher ping results.
.getspeed
This brings the exact IAS speed into the radio buffer.
.mult
This command brings up a window with the score multiplier of every plane for your pilot. Multipliers change, being smaller if your chosen plane is too popular or if you have been using it for more than a few consecutive sorties. This must be typed from the tower.
.mapflags x
If you are a squadron leader, you can activate this feature, which shows the radar coverage of each field as circles. In the place of x type 1 to activate and 0 to deactivate. The circles are only shown if you are in the tower.
Score
With ".score xxxxxx" you see the Points, Kills etc. of the callsign xxxxxx, that you can view online, by clicking on a Nick at the Scorepages. With ".clear" you can reset your own Score, if the Parameter CLEARSTATENABLE is set.
Joining a squadron
To join an existent squadron, someone of that squad must type in the radio buffer the ".invite xxxxxx" command, where xxxxxx is your pilot's name. If no problems occur, you shall receive the invitation. To complete the process, just type the ".jsquad" command.
If a problem occurs, the error message will be sent to the pilot who sent the invitation. Possible errors:
1. The squadron is at the 36 member limit 2. You are already in another squadron
To leave a squadron, type ".withdraw"
Creating a squadron
There must be two pilots online to create a squadron. The commands are the same as if joining a squad, with one having to invite the other. He who invites will be the squadron leader, being allowed to use the .mapflags command that gives access to field radar coverage on the map. To activate/deactivate this last feature, type the ".mapflags x" command. In x, type 1 to activate and 0 to deactivate.
If a problem occurs, the error message will be sent to the pilot who sent the invitation. This process may fail if one of both pilots are already in a squadron. To leave a squadron type ".withdraw". As leader, to disband your squadron, type ".disband".
.hl xxxxxx
This command will highlight a player's name in-game making it white. This is great when you are flying as a pair.
.hls
This command will highlight all of your squadron's pilot's names in-game making them white. This is great for easily spotting your squad mates in flight.
.ros
When typed in flight, this shows the number of pilots on each side in the radio buffer. When typed in the tower, it brings a window with every pilot, the team he is flying for, and if he is in flight or in which tower he is in.
.field f#
If typed in the tower, this shows a list with all the structures of a certain field and if it is alive or destroyed. If typed in flight, it shows the field's owner, size and status (open or closed), including the enable_cap variable, which shows if the field is capturable or if it need to be reclosed before.. Example: ".field f14"
.speed x
It sets the speed with which you climb when on "trim on speed". (activated by default with shift + x) The speed is in mph.
.smoke
This toggles airshow smoke on and off, making your plane leave a smoke trail. It is deactivated online at FH.
.time
This shows the current in-game time at FH.
- 1 FH day = 2 real hours (From 8:00 to 18:00)
- 1 FH month = 3 FH days = 6 real hours (One less than LASTMONTHDAY)
- 3 FH months = 1 real day
- 1 FH year = 4 real days
- A ToD starts Aug 1940 and ends after Aug 1945 (15 real days. The end depends on LASTMONTH)
.alt
Gives your current altitude in the radio buffer.
.pos
Gives your current coordinates.
.attach xxxxxx
With this command, you can enter the cockpit of the pilot with the callsign xxxxxx (if you are on the same side). You can't use the outside-view. You don't see the correct instruments (ammo-load, fuel-load, ...). You can use the gunner-positions and reduce the ammo of otto, but at the moment your hits are not counted. To exit you have to bail (press <enter> three times in a row). This flight is recordable (#.record <filename>) and is not interfering with your #Score.
.otto
Sets your otto's firing settings. For more information on that, check newotto.txt in your WB directory. Some of the settings are restricted at FH.
.show
Shows some of the servers settings.
.help
Shows a server help file.
.ignore xxxxxx
Is that brat still on your back? Type this command, with his name in the xxxxxx field and he will be ignored. To see the list of people you are ignoring, type only ".ignore".
.listen xxxxxx
By typing a pilot's name in the xxxxxx field, you will stop ignoring him. To stop all ignores, type ".listen all".
.record <filename>
You can save the Flight-Data in a Track-File. Everybody can view this Flight with the FreeHost-Launcher Programm ("Play Track"). Filename is the name of the track saved in /tracks of the freehost directory (filename.time.trk). The current time (year,month,day_hour,minute,time) is added to the file, so overwriting due to the same filename is nearly impossible. To stop a recording type ".stop". The Bombsight views are not recorded yet. To view the tracks open the freehost (without any command-line-arguments like /offline or /online). A button called Play Track appears. There you can load and view your tracks. While playing a track, you can again start and stop a new recording with ".record <new_filename>" to cut uninteresting parts. If you use at "FreeHost Launcher" / "Options" / "Alias" the alias called "onstartflight" with the entry ".record last_sortie", every flight will be recorded by default. To save diskspace, this filename is not appended by ".time." and is overwriten at the next takeoff. See also FAQ#How do I record/play a track?.
.save xxxxxx
If you fly below 200km/h and you are near to the ditched Pilot with the callsign xxxxxx, you can bring him back to your field to save his Streak/Score from being captured in enemy terretory. At the moment you must be nearer than 100 Yards (d1).

.startlog <filename>
This command starts the recording of flight data (see #.showdata). These data will be collected in the file that is given as first argument. <filename> will be stored in the FH Launcher directory (C:\Program Files\FreeHost Launcher).
The recording process will be stopped with .stoplog.
Example File-Contents:
20:41:46 TC=56469; X=-149570.23; Y=80015.79; A=957.07; TAS=439.43; IAS=418.81; Accel=0.59; AOA=-1.60; Kr=0.00; Az=75.00; CS=0.00; RS=0.00; OG=1.00 20:41:46 TC=56969; X=-149629.06; Y=80031.34; A=957.07; TAS=439.43; IAS=418.81; Accel=0.00; AOA=-1.60; Kr=0.00; Az=75.00; CS=0.00; RS=0.00; OG=1.00 20:41:47 TC=57469; X=-149688.20; Y=80047.19; A=957.38; TAS=439.43; IAS=418.80; Accel=0.00; AOA=-1.60; Kr=0.00; Az=75.00; CS=0.00; RS=0.00; OG=1.00 20:41:47 TC=57969; X=-149747.33; Y=80063.04; A=957.38; TAS=440.49; IAS=419.81; Accel=0.59; AOA=-1.60; Kr=0.00; Az=75.00; CS=0.00; RS=0.00; OG=1.00

.hmack, .tank
When in tower
.hmack >start a human controlled mobile AAA. currently it is truck with 1*25mm gun.
.tank >start a human controlled combat tank. currently it is medium tank with 1*75mm cannon and 1*.303" machinegun.
When in vehicle (mobile AAA or combat tank):
.hmack -30 >steer to left 30°. any degree can be specified.
.tank -30 >steer to left 30°
.hmack +30 >steer to right 30°
.tank +30 >steer to right 30°
.hmack 30 >steer to absolute 30° azimuth
.tank 30 >steer to absolute 30° azimuth
.hmack stop >stop vehicle
.tank stop >stop vehicle
.hmack go >move vehicle
.tank go >move vehicle
feature (bug abuse?): player can use .hmack ±N command for steering tank, and that will give higher hmack speed for tank.
